Three medieval merchant houses knocked into one boutique hotel on Tallinn's oldest street, with the original 14th-century bones still very much in evidence: carved woodwork, ceiling frescoes, beams that have seen a lot. Every room is different, some running toward roll-top tubs and period details, others quieter and cleaner, but none of them generic. It sits steps from St. Olaf's Church and close to the Old Town's main draws, without feeling like it's in the thick of them.
