    Oscar de la Renta designed the 13 villas here, which explains a lot about the quiet, minimal-luxe feel. This small resort in the Dominican Republic runs just 30 suites, all with golf carts included, because sometimes the distance between your villa and the beach is simply too far to walk with dignity. Three miles of private beach, an eco-reserve with lagoons, and access to the larger Puntacana Resort around it. It holds a Michelin Key and a Forbes Four Star.
