Ancient beams and roll-top baths in a former working farm that's been sitting in the Forest of Dean since the 13th century. Tudor Farmhouse is a small hotel with rooms ranging from cozy doubles to suites with proper lounge areas, all stonework and monsoon showers. The kitchen garden and a tight ring of local producers feed a restaurant that runs from breakfast through an evening tasting menu. Good countryside is essentially the wallpaper.
