Victoria Golf Resort and Spa

The Ernie Els-designed golf course next door is the organizing principle here, a sprawling Algarve resort where the fairways are practically part of the amenities. Four pools, a spa with sauna and Turkish bath, and three restaurants leaning into the region's seafood keep non-golfers occupied without much complaint. Vilamoura's beaches and marina are a short drive, and Faro a bit further. A resort for people who pack their clubs, or at least respect those who do.
