A nineteenth-century villa perched above the port of Banyuls-sur-Mer, with the Côte Vermeille at its feet and a Spa NUXE, complete with sauna and ice cave, tucked inside. The hotel's interiors take the warm-and-minimal route, modernist furniture and all, which the team traces back to the Danish roots of the original architect. It's a small, historically grounded hotel where the location does most of the talking, and the location is very good at talking.
