The voco brand's first Mexican outpost sits on Avenida Pablo Neruda in Guadalajara's financial district, which is either a happy coincidence or very good marketing. The hotel leans into a quasi-minimalist, modernist look, softened by artwork that nods to local life. Its one restaurant, Querida Luna, does the heavy lifting on atmosphere with a seventh-floor terrace and views to match, while the surrounding Neruda 2828 development handles everything else.
