    A three-story Swarovski crystal chandelier in the marble lobby sets the tone for what follows at this boutique Red Sea-facing hotel, where the suites come with 24-karat-gold-leaf-wrapped TVs and 24-hour butler service. The name translates to "Palace of the East," and the designers who shaped the Burj Al Arab handled the brief here too. Small enough for real privacy, grand enough to make understated feel like a missed opportunity.
