    A stone fireplace anchors the multi-story lobby here, with leather armchairs and oriental rugs doing their best to convince you that roughing it and a Forbes Four Star rating can coexist. This lodge-style ski resort sits slope-side in the Wasatch Mountains, gondola-connected to the runs in winter and surrounded by hiking and mountain biking trails come summer. Every guest room has its own working fireplace, so the apres-ski atmosphere follows you upstairs.
