A 16th-century winegrower's house sitting directly on the grounds of Schloss Leitheim is a fine place to tuck into a seasonal, farm-to-table menu. The interior is cosy in the way that old stone buildings just are, and the wine list leans into South African vintages, which is not something you expect in rural Bavaria. Trainee chefs run their own menu on Sundays and Mondays, which keeps things interesting for the regulars.
