Wymara Resort & Villas Turks and Caicos

Bougainvillea trails the wooden trellises along open-air walkways, with the electric blues of Grace Bay Beach doing most of the decorating beyond. Wymara is a beachfront resort that manages to feel like a design hotel without the attitude, whitewashed and airy rather than themed. Celebrities turn up often enough that nobody makes a fuss, which is probably the point. It holds a Forbes Four Star rating.
