    Thatched wooden villas rise on stilts above paddy fields and manicured gardens at this 45-villa resort outside Siem Reap, a short drive from Angkor Wat. The name means "green village," and the Parisian design firm AW2 committed to the concept with wooden walkways, a mirror-calm pool, and a restored farmhouse turned atmospheric lounge. It holds a Forbes Four Star and two Michelin Keys. Pool Villas add private plunge pools; every category includes an oversized bathtub and the full five-star reassurance.
