Zur Linde
Swabian German
The vaulted cellar and leafy rear terrace give away that this place has been around forever, a proper old coaching inn turned Swabian restaurant in the southern suburbs of Stuttgart. The menu runs the classics, Maultaschen, Gaisburger Marsch, beef with onions in gravy, alongside seasonal plates that skew a little lighter. On the way out, the shop sells house-made soups and spaetzle to take home, which tells you something about how people feel about the cooking.
