The Best Hotels Near Canary Club, by the Record

  1. White sand and Gulf water right outside the door set the tone at this sprawling beachside resort. The Ritz-Carlton, Naples has been around forever, and a recent top-to-bottom renovation brought new cabanas, poolside bungalows, and a massive Club Lounge that the brand calls its largest. The spa got a refresh too. A Forbes Four Star property, it draws the kind of guests who prefer their beach days with a butler nearby.

  2. Two Greg Norman-designed golf courses sit at the center of this Forbes Four Star resort, which tilts toward the active end of the Ritz-Carlton spectrum. Tennis, golf, and a sprawling pool complex with waterslides and a lazy river keep everyone occupied, and a complimentary shuttle runs to the brand's beachside property nearby. The crowd skews toward families and golfers who never really stop moving, which is the whole idea.

  3. The only hotel sitting on Fifth Avenue itself rather than a few polite blocks away, Inn on Fifth puts its Club Level Suites guests on a private rooftop above the boutiques and restaurant crawl below. It's a suite-tier upgrade within the main property, with a dedicated concierge lounge for people who consider a queue a personal affront. Downtown Naples shopping and dining is essentially at the elevator.

Eat Score

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
