The Top 54 Places to Eat in Park City

The best places to eat in Park City, by the professional record: Salt Lake Magazine, AAA, and The Infatuation have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Handle comes out on top.

Riverhorse On Main and Tupelo Park City hold the next two places. The Infatuation shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with Eater close behind.

  1. Rank 1. Handle

    New American

Tightly packed tables and a menu that shifts with the seasons set the tone at this creative American restaurant in Park City. The mood runs loud and convivial, the kind of place that works equally well for a group après-ski and a date night, which probably explains why it's almost always full. Comfort food gets a thoughtful rework here, and the chef landed a James Beard semifinalist nod. The Michelin Guide has it listed too.

  5. Rank 13. Matilda

    Wood-fired Pizza

Sourdough pies out of a wood-fired oven anchor the menu at this laid-back neighborhood pizza spot, where tall ceilings and a light wood and green palette make it feel like someone actually thought about the room. Park City locals fill it nightly, and the open kitchen is worth watching. Sticky date pudding with salted caramel closes things out on a note that has nothing to do with pizza and no one seems to mind.

  10. High West's own distillery runs this tasting-menu dinner inside a small cottage on Park Ave., where a company ambassador pairs each course with a whiskey pour and everyone eats in lockstep. You start on the patio with sips and snacks, then move inside for the full meal. The kitchen leans toward game and local fish, and the whiskey is, naturally, the whole point of being here.

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
