The Best Steakhouses Near Puri Chef's Side, by the Record

  1. Rank 1. Pull

    Steakhouse

The anchor tenant of a converted 19th-century grain elevator in Tallinn's Rotermann district, Pull is a meat-forward grill restaurant where exposed stone walls and concrete pillars do most of the decorating. Dinner leans hard into charcoal-grilled Estonian cuts, with a "Dirty Steak" that has apparently earned its name. At lunch, almost everyone orders the dish of the day, which tells you something about the pricing.

  2. Rank 2. Härg

    Steakhouse

The stone walls and copper chandeliers make Härg feel like a brasserie that materialized in a medieval cellar, in the best possible, no wait, in a way that works. It runs all day, with a charcoal-heavy menu that keeps its eye on local ingredients and a signature rib-eye cooked directly on the coals. The courtyard fills up the moment Tallinn thaws. Portions lean generous, which the room's energy quietly encourages you to meet.

The score comes from the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin star outweighs a listicle. When you sort by what's nearby, distance changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. It runs on the scored places nearby: more good stuff within reach, higher score. If it looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
