The best spas in Thailand, according to the experts: the Forbes Travel Guide and Vogue have both weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Auriga Wellness comes out on top, and the good stuff runs deepest in Bangkok and Phuket.
More Less
The Oriental Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok and Layan Life by Anantara hold the next two places. The Forbes Travel Guide shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with Vogue next.

A medi-spa inside the Anantara Layan resort in Phuket, Layan Life runs a menu of over fifty treatments spanning ancient Thai therapies and clinical medical offerings, which is the kind of range that makes "I'll just see what they recommend" a perfectly reasonable strategy. It's built for multiday retreats or the genuinely undecided, with a roster of specialized practitioners who can diagnose the problem before you can name it. Vogue named it among the 100 Best Spas in the World.

RAKxa sits in Bang Krachao, the dense green island just across the river from Bangkok's traffic, which is already a statement of intent. The wellness retreat pairs clinical diagnostics and biometric testing with acupuncture, ancient healing, and genuinely ambitious sleep protocols. It's less spa day, more full-system audit, for people who've read every study and still can't figure out what's wrong. Named among Vogue's 100 Best Spas in the World.
