A country inn perched above a gorge where the Chéran River runs far below, which sets a dramatic tone before you've even looked at a menu. The chef cooks modern French with a strong lean toward vegetables and foraged things, and if you've been out hunting mushrooms yourself, he'll apparently take a look at what you found. A discovery menu runs in the evenings and weekends; lunch is a tidier, more affordable affair.
