Godia is a small enough village that "border region of diverse cultural influences" is doing a lot of work, but Agli Amici earns the description. This two-Michelin-star fine dining restaurant leans hard into Friuli's larder, from mountain pastures to kitchen gardens, translated into tasting menus that treat local potatoes and fermented turnips with the same seriousness as anything trucked in from elsewhere. The room runs warm and unhurried, the way a place does when the front-of-house team has been doing this together for a while.
