A 1930s mansion in the upscale Achrafieh district, the Albergo is a classic luxury hotel with thirty individually decorated suites ranging from Oriental fantasy to Parisian chic, all with marble bathrooms and jacuzzi tubs. The ninth-floor terrace, with its sweep of rooftops out to the Mediterranean, makes it very hard to leave. The hotel's own French restaurant gives the neighborhood, already thick with good options, something to consider.
