Sitting at the top of Courchevel 1850, Annapurna is a ski-in hotel that does manage to make you feel you've crossed a continent, with Himalayan views that earn the name without needing to try too hard. Inside, the look is crisp and contemporary, and the family programming is unusually serious, running from a full kids' club to a teen game room and cinema. A Codage spa, indoor pool, three restaurants, and a cocktail bar fill whatever time the slopes don't.
