A seaside hotel perched above the dunes of the Bay of Biscay, Anne de Bretagne has the clean lines and open spaces of somewhere that knows exactly what it's doing. Simple palettes, modernist furniture, and wide sea views give it a faint Big Sur quality, which makes sense once you clock the sunset. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key, and the two-star restaurant on site draws as much attention as the rooms.
