Handmade fresh pasta and an almond cake with zabaione are the reasons regulars make the drive into the hills outside Piacenza. This is a proper family trattoria, the kind that has been feeding the same valley for generations, with a menu anchored in Emilian classics: house charcuterie, roasts, boiled meats. In good weather the veranda opens up and the whole operation moves outside. They sell their own cured meats to take home, in case once wasn't enough.
