The 100 Best Places to Eat in Las Vegas

Sections

Tap another section to add it. All sections

The best places to eat in Las Vegas, according to the experts: AAA, Forbes Travel Guide, and Michelin Guide have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Restaurant de Joël Robuchon comes out on top.

More Less

Restaurant Guy Savoy and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon hold the next two places. AAA shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with The Infatuation close behind.

  1. A chariot of mignardise rolled tableside signals the close of dinner at this two-Michelin-star French contemporary room inside the MGM Grand, which trades casino noise for aubergine velvet, gilded accents, and deep carpet underfoot. The cooking runs through contemporary French with global detours, the wine list holds a Wine Enthusiast Hall of Fame nod, and the AAA Five Diamond sits quietly on the wall. Dress accordingly, and clear the evening.

  2. Its own valet entrance off the Augustus Tower means you never have to walk through a casino to get here, which tells you something about how seriously this French fine dining room takes itself. Guy Savoy holds a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamonds, and the tasting menu reads like a greatest-hits of the Paris original: artichoke and black truffle soup, seared foie gras, oyster. Romantic, modern, not remotely stuffy.

  3. The counter wraps the open kitchen in red and black, so you're essentially eating at the pass, watching every plate come together. This is Joël Robuchon's casual-ish fine dining concept inside the MGM Grand, a Michelin-starred French tasting menu room where the pommes purée alone has a kind of cult following. The tasting menu is the move; à la carte exists, but feels like skipping the point.

  4. Satin drapes the ceiling in tent-like folds while the Bellagio fountains do their thing just beyond the window, which is either very Las Vegas or very perfect, depending on your mood. Le Cirque is classic French fine dining, the kind where tasting menus arrive in careful courses and the room does half the work. It holds both a Forbes Five Star and an AAA Five Diamond, a combination that keeps the service on its toes.

  5. Rank 5. Casa Playa

    Coastal Mexican

The whole snapper arrives in tempura, trailing mole amarillo, and the room is already glam enough that this feels appropriate. Casa Playa is a coastal Mexican restaurant on the Strip where the menu works for sharing or not, which is a rarer courtesy than it sounds. The chef holds a James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southwest. Order charred octopus, warm housemade tortillas, and whatever the table can agree on, then quietly order more.

  6. Rank 5. Wing Lei

    Cantonese

The gilded dining room inside the Wynn was designed to stop conversation mid-sentence, and the food takes the same approach. Wing Lei is a fine dining room built around Cantonese, Sichuan, and Shanghainese cooking, and it holds a Forbes Five Star, a distinction no other Chinese restaurant in North America can claim. The Peking duck arrives on a custom cart and gets carved tableside, which is exactly as theatrical as it sounds.

  7. A private counter tucked inside Jaleo on the Cosmopolitan's third floor, this is José Andrés's stage for a Spanish contemporary tasting menu where a "PB&J" arrives as foie gras mousse in meringue bread, and a prawn comes with olive spheres and mandarin snow. The Michelin-starred room seats very few, the kitchen is your entertainment, and the whole thing reads less like dinner than a very good magic show that happens to leave you full.

  8. The sourdough, pasta, and pizza all come from a dedicated production area you can see from the dining room, which tells you something about how seriously this Arts District Italian restaurant takes the basics. Dark walls, vintage silver trays, and a big welcoming U-shaped wood bar give it a rustic warmth that feels nothing like the Strip. The seasonal menu leans farm-forward and the Michelin Bib Gourmand makes the price-to-pleasure math easy.

  9. Rank 9. CUT by Wolfgang Puck

    Modern Steakhouse

This is a Wolfgang Puck steakhouse inside the Shoppes at Palazzo, the sort of place where the wagyu comes from Hokkaido and Australia and the check comes from a much higher power. Expect jackets, expense accounts, and a dining room built for closing deals or pretending to. The Japanese beef burger gets you the same pedigree without the second mortgage, and the man himself occasionally works the room.

  10. A separate menu devoted entirely to Northern Thailand, with dishes that lean toward Myanmar, Laos, and South China, is the thing that separates this Thai restaurant from every other Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. The room is a casino-scale take on temple architecture, all red brick and paper lanterns, but the cooking predates the glamour by a long stretch and has never chased it. Wine Enthusiast put it in their Restaurant Hall of Fame, which tracks.

  11. An open kitchen anchors this seafood-focused fine dining room inside the Bellagio, where soft beige walls and light wood paneling keep things calm enough that the food can do the talking. Michael Mina's tasting menu pulls Japanese and broader Asian influences through the catch, ponzu and miso showing up often. Service is polished in the way that Vegas fine dining does best, which is to say attentively and without making you feel watched.

  12. Rank 9. Mizumi

    Japanese

The floating pagoda table on a koi pond is exactly as over-the-top as it sounds, which is probably why it's the hardest reservation in the building. Mizumi is a fine-dining Japanese restaurant inside Wynn, recently stripped of its red lacquer drama in favor of teak beams, indigo, and lantern light. The kitchen leans innovative, with sushi and sashimi that feel almost too precise to eat.

  13. Rank 9. Mott 32

    Cantonese

The abacus-inspired light fixtures alone could convince you this is a design hotel lobby, but Mott 32 is a fine dining room doing serious contemporary Chinese food inside The Palazzo. The menu pulls from Cantonese and Sichuanese traditions, and the applewood-roasted Peking duck has a following of its own. The dim sum spreads run all-you-can-eat without feeling like a cafeteria, which is a harder trick than it sounds.

  14. Rank 9. Tamba

    Modern Indian

Oysters dressed with curry emulsions and Kashmiri chili signal right away that this modern Indian restaurant is not following a familiar script. The menu traces the chef's path through the Maldives, Seychelles, and beyond, so coastal raw bar items sit alongside the subcontinent's spice pantry without apology. The room leans toward subdued opulence, the plating rewards a camera, and a James Beard nominee for Best New Restaurant keeps the ambitions in view.

  15. A Strip diner that has been waving off the casino buffets for decades, with fake trees, flamingo lamps, and enough neon to make the omelets feel like a decision. Out back, the lounge has sunken booths, water features, and scorpion bowls, a James Beard America's Classics winner that somehow still runs all night. Hungover tourists and bikers split plates of marinara-soaked eggs, and no one finds this strange.

  16. Rank 15. Sinatra

    Italian

This is the Italian dining room inside Wynn, built around Frank Sinatra, with portraits on the walls and a few of his old microphones standing by in case anyone feels like a song. It's a white-tablecloth, Four Diamond, Forbes Four Star kind of evening, so dress like you've got somewhere to be afterward. The dessert is a chocolate mousse shaped like his fedora, which is a very Vegas way to eat your hat.

  17. Rank 15. SW Steakhouse

    Steakhouse

Lakeside tables at this swanky steakhouse inside Wynn look out over a waterfall and light show, which gives the white-tablecloth setting a slightly surreal edge. The menu hits every chophouse note, but the draw is the beef program: true Japanese Kobe from Hyogo alongside American wagyu, both with the kind of marbling that makes a menu feel like a financial decision. Forbes Four Star and AAA Four Diamonds.

  18. This is a José Andrés steakhouse inside The Venetian, and the open kitchen is basically a stage for a very large fire. Bone-in wagyu ribeyes get charred there, while the menu also stocks Ibérico ham and an aged-cow beef most steakhouses skip. Caviar comes in single-bite cones, which tells you about the tax bracket. Dress like you're celebrating something, since most tables are.

  19. Rank 18. Delilah

    American

You descend a staircase into a room held up by 40-foot cast brass palms and malachite-inlaid tables, which sets the tone pretty efficiently. Delilah is a supper club inside the Wynn that leans hard into old Vegas glamour, the kind of room that makes you feel underdressed even when you're not. The beverage program earned a James Beard nomination. Dress up; this is not a jeans situation.

  20. Rank 18. Sparrow + Wolf

    Creative American

Dark walls covered in Japanese murals set the mood at this Chinatown fine dining spot, where the kitchen blends Vietnamese, Mexican, Italian, and Japanese influences into something that shouldn't work as well as it does. An open fire does a lot of the heavy lifting. The chef earned a James Beard nomination for Best Chef Southwest, which tracks for a room this quietly serious about food that refuses to settle on any one identity.

  21. Jeremy Ford runs this modern tasting menu restaurant inside the Venetian, and the kitchen leans hard into vegetables without pretending it isn't also very interested in wagyu and foie gras. Two tasting menu lengths give you a choice of how long to commit, but the bar menu with its cacio e pepe puffs and charred jerk carrots is a genuinely good argument for just pulling up a stool instead.

  22. 1228 Main is a daytime bakery and cafe in the Arts District where the pastry case gets the best light in the building. The laminated stuff is the draw, from lemon cruffins to crème brûlée croissants, and most people could call it breakfast with just a cappuccino. There's also a croissant sandwich with gruyère, avocado, and jalapeño aioli. It's part of the Wolfgang Puck group, which explains the discipline.

  23. Rank 22. Anima by EDO

    Modern Mediterranean

Maritime murals and leather benches set the mood at this fine dining Mediterranean spot off the Strip, where the kitchen leans hard into Italy and Spain with a particular fondness for Catalonian tapas. Sharing plates, pasta, risotto, and a tasting menu in omnivore, vegan, or vegetarian form give the table options. The chef was a James Beard nominee for Best Chef Southwest.

  24. The dining room at this steakhouse inside Park MGM keeps going longer than you expect, opening into smaller rooms hung with vintage art in a way that feels more Belle Époque supper club than casino corridor. Dry-aged bone-in ribeye is the main event, but the sides pull their weight and the mile-high carrot cake arrives looking like a dare. A proper old-school steakhouse, dark and comfortable, with prices to match.

  25. Rank 22. Bouchon

    Classic French

Blue velvet banquettes, wood-paneled columns, and vintage frescoes sit just off a casino floor that couldn't be further from Paris, which is exactly the joke Thomas Keller seems happy to lean into. Bouchon is a classic French brasserie where the staff wear bow ties and the cooking runs to escargots and crème brûlée done with care. The room transports; the slot machines do not.

  26. Rank 22. Cote

    Steakhouse Korean

The dry-aged beef is displayed behind glass like jewelry, which tells you exactly where you are: a Korean steakhouse inside the Venetian that takes itself seriously without apologizing for it. The Butcher's Feast is the move, a family-style spread of kimchi stew and egg soufflé before the real business, premium wagyu and prime cuts cooked tableside by a service team that clearly rehearsed.

  27. The fish at this Greek fine dining room on the Strip is displayed on ice for you to choose before it's grilled, which is either refreshing transparency or mild pressure depending on your temperament. Servers know their regions and textures cold, so let them steer you. The lunch prix-fixe draws local regulars who know a quiet deal when they see one. Evenings bring a dressed-up crowd there for the seafood and the room.

  28. Ferraro's is a white-tablecloth Italian restaurant just off the Strip, where the main attraction is somebody else's birthday. Private rooms fill up with families belting out the song, while the patio stays oddly peaceful for a city that never shuts up. It holds AAA Three Diamonds and has been the sort of place Las Vegas locals pick when the occasion needs a tablecloth, a bucatini, and a short drive from the neon.

  29. Genting Palace is a white-tablecloth Chinese dining room inside Resorts World, with high ceilings, floral wallpaper, and tables spaced far enough apart that nobody hears your negotiations over the duck. Dinner is Cantonese fine dining, and the Sunday seafood buffet sets up in the same formal room, complete with a carving station. It holds a Forbes Four Star, so wear something with a collar.

  30. The red leather booths here supposedly inspired scenes in Casino, which tells you most of what you need to know about the vibe. This is an old-school steakhouse off the Strip, the kind that served Sinatra and the Rat Pack and has never felt the need to apologize for it. Thick porterhouse, a baked potato the size of a small child, lobster tail drowning in butter. Time moves differently in wood-paneled rooms like this.

  31. Kaiseki Yuzu is a tiny, tasting-menu-only Japanese room in a Chinatown strip mall, where a slab of otoro the size of a paperback makes several appearances over ten courses. The chef was a James Beard nominee for Best Chef: Southwest, and still cracks jokes while sculpting fish into small, serious-looking things. Expect two-plus hours, some gold leaf, and enough room afterward to cross the street for a tiki drink.

  33. This is a casual taco and breakfast spot in a South Durango strip-mall unit where the kitchen nixtamalizes its own heirloom corn, so the tortillas arrive with a pedigree most tortillas would find embarrassing. Chilaquiles, squash-filled tetelas, and fish tacos fill the minimalist room, along with aguas frescas and a horchata matcha. The chef was a 2025 James Beard Best Chef: Southwest semifinalist, and the Strip tourists are mostly elsewhere.

  34. Rank 22. Partage

    French

Wood-paneled walls and brass fixtures in Las Vegas's Chinatown, well off the Strip's theatrical gravitational pull. Partage is a modern French tasting restaurant where the chef's intentions are on the plate and the room quietly asks you to pay attention. The menu has loosened from pure tasting format to include à la carte, which locals have taken as an invitation to become regulars. A 2026 James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef Southwest.

  35. A French brasserie on a corner of South Main, with big windows that let the street watch you demolish a crock of onion soup. The classics are all here, escargots and mussels and a boeuf bourguignon built on short rib, plus fries tossed in dry-aged beef fat that tend to vanish before the entrees arrive. It's a sit-down dinner, and a James Beard semifinalist chef is running it. Next door, the sibling bar handles the Bordeaux.

  36. Bardot is a Michael Mina brasserie tucked inside Aria, a windowless black-and-white room where it's always a flattering 8 p.m. and fresh flowers cover every surface. It's a dressy-casual, mid-to-upper price French spot, and it holds three AAA diamonds.

  37. Vintage Vegas glamour gets a quiet update at this steakhouse inside the Circa Resort, where the chef behind Scotch 80 Prime brings a recognizable hand to the Downtown corridor. The menu runs classic prime cuts but keeps slipping in detours: lobster and shrimp potstickers, short rib with harissa, tater tots finished with poutine gravy. The crowd skews loyal, the kind who followed the chef here from his last room and haven't opened the menu in months.

  38. Rank 37. Carbone

    American Italian

The red velvet booths are arranged in a circle so that everyone in this fine dining room can watch everyone else, which feels about right for Vegas. Carbone is the New York Italian-American institution transplanted to Aria, where tuxedoed captains serve dishes tableside with a theatricality that matches the decor. The menu leans into the classics hard, and putting yourself in the captain's hands is an option if the bill isn't a concern.

  41. This is a French fine dining room on the 11th floor of a half-size Eiffel Tower, which means you eat duck confit while the Bellagio fountains do their thing below. Window tables face The Strip, and the staff has seen enough dessert proposals that a ring on a plate barely registers as news. Dress like you're being photographed, because you will be. AAA gives it Four Diamonds, and the bar handles the cheaper, quicker version.

  42. Rank 37. Gymkhana

    Indian

The reservation line forms before doors open, which tells you everything about the temperature of this contemporary Indian restaurant inside the Aria. The room is all velvet and low light, the service is composed, and the kitchen pulls from street-food traditions without being precious about it. Curries are built for sharing and arrive bold enough to hold the table's attention, even by Las Vegas standards.

  43. Rank 37. Honey Salt

    American

Honey Salt is a bright, farmhouse-style Summerlin restaurant where brunch involves bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas, plus a mocktail list so earnest it includes a green juice that makes Pilates feel plausible. Monkey bread arrives for the table, sticky and iced, and disappears in a way that suggests nobody read the portion sizes. Dress is nice-casual, the kind where the linen shirt is doing real work.

  45. This is a Jean-Georges steakhouse at the Bellagio, and it looks more like a jeweler's showroom than a place to eat a cow, with velvet, crystal chandeliers, and a jewel-tone palette. Tables face the fountains, so the water show has a better seat than most people you know. The menu pairs Japanese and American beef with steakhouse classics, and the room fills with expense accounts and decanters of big red.

  46. The Jacuzzi room here is styled like a mermaid's fever dream, with lily-pad walls, waterfall showers, and a central soaking bath that makes you forget Las Vegas exists outside. This Forbes Five Star spa at Wynn leans into Asian- and Middle Eastern-inspired treatments alongside a feng shui-based ritual that works through foot, massage, and scalp in one long, thorough session. Plush waiting rooms with fireplaces set the tone before a single robe goes on.

  48. This is a casual Italian spot inside the Grand Canal Shoppes, where windows face the Strip and the cooking leans more Hoboken than Bologna, courtesy of the Cake Boss. 49. Rank 50. Chyna Club

    Modernist Chinese

Tucked into a corner of the Fontainebleau that most guests walk right past, Chyna Club is a fine dining room serving modernist Cantonese and regional Chinese, helmed by the chef who once earned the only Michelin star for a Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. The tableside Beijing duck, all paper-thin wrappers and julienned scallions, sets the tone: this is banquet-grade precision in a room that doesn't announce itself.

  50. Rank 50. Double Zero Pie & Pub

    Neapolitan Pizzeria

A long counter, an open kitchen, and a pizzaiolo working the back of the room like the whole thing is a performance: this Chinatown strip-mall pizza shop has no interest in blending into its surroundings. The neo-Neapolitan dough is light with a properly blistered edge, and the menu stays tight enough that everything on it seems to mean something. Named among 50 Top Pizza USA's excellent pizzerias.

  51. Rank 50. Good Pie

    Pizzeria

Good Pie is an Arts District pizza shop that can't commit to one style, so it does New York slices, thick Detroit rectangles, and a thinner Long Island grandma pie. You can eat at the sidewalk window like it's a Tuesday, or take the nicer dining room and order a pitcher of sangria like it isn't. Lunch is easy here, gluten-free pies are on the menu, and nobody will make you pick a lane.

  52. Rank 50. Harlo Steakhouse & Bar

    Italian Steakhouse

Harlo is an upscale steakhouse in Summerlin, set up like an old Vegas lounge with chandeliers, indoor trees, and booths plush enough to lose a fork in. The caviar comes mix-and-match with malt vinegar fries and latkes, and the wagyu tomahawk gets carved at your table, price tag included. It's a place to wear the good jacket, though happy hour martinis with charred olives cost $11 for those watching.

  53. This is a 20-seat Thai restaurant behind an unmarked door that gives off abandoned-7-Eleven energy, with scotch-taped wallpaper inside and a kitchen that serves spicy food until 2am every night. The wine list is a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service, heavy on Riesling for putting out the fire. Off-duty sommeliers and chefs fill the room, which tells you where the industry eats after its own shift.

  54. A jewelry box packed in ice, opened tableside to reveal a small trove of nigiri and prepared bites, is the kind of move that sets the tone here. Kame is an intimate omakase counter where fish flies in from Japan several times a week and caviar appears less as a flourish than a habit. The chefs talk, the room stays loose, and the whole thing lands closer to a dinner party than a ceremony. A Michelin selected restaurant.

  55. Rank 50. PISCES Bar & Seafare

    Refined Mediterranean

This is Wynn's lakeside seafood restaurant, a split-level room where the chairs are upholstered in fish skin and the margaritas arrive in blowfish-shaped glasses. It's refined Mediterranean at fine-dining prices, so dress like someone with a reservation and a reason. The $1,000 seafood platter feeds eight and comes with enough caviar to make a toast feel necessary. Good for anniversaries, or celebrating a friend's profitable divorce.

  56. Rank 50. Pizza Rock

    Pizzeria

A slice counter at the entrance means you can be in and out before the circular bar crowd even finds a seat. Pizza Rock is a big, loud, rock-and-roll pizza shop spread across multiple rooms, with booths for two and communal tables for everyone else. The menu runs several regional styles, and the staff can actually explain the differences. Named among 50 Top Pizza USA's excellent pizzerias, it draws a crowd that didn't want to eat on the Strip.

  57. Scotch 80 Prime is the steakhouse at Palms, where the wagyu comes from specific farms across Japan and the chef knows which. It's pricier than a pizza night but gentler than the Strip's steakhouses, and happy hour knocks 30 percent off select steaks and garlicky ibérico lumpia. You can perch at the bar for beef sold by the ounce, or go all in on A5 striploin and see how much marbling a human can reasonably absorb.

  58. Rank 50. Spago

    Cantonese

Spago is a business-casual fine-dining room at Bellagio, and its patio has a front-row view of the fountains, which is why you'll be humming Sinatra whether you meant to or not. The menu sits between luxurious and familiar: pizzas, pastas, and a thick cheeseburger with charred onions. The chinois chicken salad has been on since the early eighties, the culinary equivalent of a band that still plays the hits.

  60. Rank 50. WAKUDA

    Japanese

Tetsuya Wakuda made Las Vegas his US debut, reportedly because the Strip's energy reminded him of Shinjuku, which is either a compliment or a warning depending on your tolerance for spectacle. This fine dining room inside The Venetian pulls Japanese seafood, Canadian lobster, and Tasmanian oysters into a menu that moves between traditional and contemporary Japanese cooking. A hidden omakase room exists for those who know to ask, with rare whisky alongside the meal.

  61. This is a retro diner dressed like your great-grandmother's parlor, with lace curtains, antique picture frames, and a name that sounds like it's waiting on a pension. The biscuits are fluffy enough to scoop up chorizo gravy, and the pancakes get a toasty note from malted milk powder. Coffee is a quarter a cup and refilled before you ask, though the cold brew specials are the smarter order. Cheap, cozy, and best before noon.

  62. Raku is a Japanese izakaya in a Spring Mountain Road strip mall, where binchotan charcoal and condiments come straight from Japan and the robata grill does the heavy lifting. It stays open until 1am, so the late tables fill with chefs and hospitality workers who have just finished feeding everyone else. The omakase needs a call a few days ahead, and the sake list is long enough to count as a second menu.

  63. Rank 66. Cafe Breizh

    French Coffee Shop

  64. This is a Strip steakhouse run by the Food Network's "bam" guy, and the wine list tops 2,700 bottles, which is a lot of reading before a baked potato. The Caesar is tossed tableside, as the form requires, and the lobster bisque comes loaded with actual chunks of lobster. The banana cream pie is a wall, and a glazed pork chop makes a case against the beef. Expect expense accounts and a jacket or two.

  65. You get in by pressing a paw-shaped doorbell, which sets the tone. Doberman Drawing Room is a cocktail lounge and social club in the Arts District, dressed in antiques, taxidermy, and surreal art, with a central bar dividing the room into separate moody dens. Non-members are welcome; members get the private loft with a juliet balcony. No phones, no photos, charcuterie served inside a hollowed book, and cocktails that are genuinely the point.

  66. Rank 66. Hakkasan

    Cantonese

Hakkasan is a five-story Cantonese restaurant and nightclub in the MGM Grand, so dinner and the dance floor share a building and a dress code. A set menu keeps the bill friendlier than most Strip showpieces, and the dim sum arrives in colors that photograph better than they have any right to. The peking duck comes with caviar, which tells you how the evening is meant to end: upstairs, with a DJ and a bottle.

  67. Rank 66. Jasmine

    Chinese

The sink has a ruffled curtain skirt, which tells you everything about how seriously Jasmine takes its room. This fine dining Chinese restaurant at the Bellagio overlooks the fountain show through floor-to-ceiling windows, while inside, chandeliers hang over deep reds and gold-tinted flatware on floral plates. The menu moves across Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hunan traditions, and the Peking duck is carved tableside with the full ceremony that implies.

  68. Rank 66. Kabuto

    Edomae Sushi

A strip-mall address in Chinatown that could be a nail salon from the outside, but inside it's a spare, serene omakase counter where the fish comes in from Tokyo's bay and the sake list runs to two dozen carefully chosen bottles with tasting notes. The room is small and the reservations are harder than they look on a map. Scott Conant and friends have been known to show up, which is the kind of endorsement that doesn't stay quiet long.

  69. Lou's is a cheap, cozy Las Vegas diner done in full small-town cosplay, right down to the porcelain chickens and sheet metal signs reminding you that coffee helps. Your table gets a free sampler of housemade jams on butter crackers before you've ordered anything. The Belgian waffle shows up under hot strawberry sauce and a mountain of whipped cream. Weekday breakfast is calm, while weekends belong to the regulars.

  70. Rank 66. Nobu

    Nikkei

This is the Caesars Palace Nobu, the biggest of the three on the Strip, a dim, stylish Nikkei dining room where lychee martinis and miso black cod are the opening move. Sequins and big watches fill the tables before a show at the Colosseum across the casino floor. Walk-ins sometimes score a bar seat, but plan on reserving a couple of weeks ahead.

  71. Rank 66. Piero's

    Old-School Italian

Piero's is an old-school Italian dining room just off the Strip, with oversized leather booths, candlelight, and the lingering suggestion that someone at the next table is discussing something other than linguine. The bar is moody enough that the FBI reportedly once staked it out, which tells you how long the martinis have been this good. Expect a jacket-and-dinner-plans crowd, and a Garbage Caesar that sounds like an insult and isn't.

  72. This tiny Chinatown dumpling house on Spring Mountain Road has a glass window where you can watch the staff fold your future soup dumplings while you wait, which is either entertainment or torture depending on your blood sugar. There are no reservations, and you may be asked to order before you sit, so study the menu in line. The chef was a James Beard semifinalist, and the xiao long bao are the reason the line exists.

  73. Toca Madera is a Mexican steakhouse that spends its nights thumping and its mornings dim, candlelit, and forgiving of whatever you did last night. The brunch tower arrives in three tiers and feeds a small committee, and the tres leches French toast goes soft and custardy under the cinnamon cream. Nobody will stop you from ordering a wagyu steak next to your bloody mary, since the dinner menu stays open all day.

  74. Wild Fig is a no-frills BBQ takeout counter in Summerlin that started life as a commissary kitchen, and it still has the energy of one. The smoked pastrami goes toe to toe with the East Coast versions, and the pickles are homemade. Most of it sells out by mid-afternoon, so ordering ahead is the move. A few picnic tables face the parking lot, which the people eating there have decided not to mind.

  75. A Vietnamese restaurant in a Las Vegas Chinatown strip mall that earns a Michelin Bib Gourmand by doing exactly what it says on the tin. The steamed rice rolls arrive buried under fried onions, the turmeric crepes come with enough fresh herbs to reforest a small country, and the bún bò huế is the kind of broth that makes you sit up straight. Everything is made to order, which means it arrives hot, and portions run large enough that you'll want company.

  77. Rank 80. Carversteak

    American Steakhouse

Carversteak is a Strip steakhouse where a martini cart makes laps during dinner service, which tells you how seriously the room takes the word "steakhouse." Expect a dressy, expense-account sort of evening, with investment bankers at the next table who may adopt you for drinks. The chilled seafood platters, stacked with shrimp, lobster tails, and oysters, are as much the draw as the beef.

  78. One kitchen has a comal turning heirloom Oaxacan corn into tortillas; another steams dumplings. José Andrés planted this casual restaurant inside The Cosmopolitan on the premise that Chinese and Mexican cuisines belong together, and the menu doesn't argue the point so much as demonstrate it with antojitos, dim sum, noodles, and ceviche sharing the same table. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Bib Gourmand, which tracks for a room that eats this well without the formality.

  79. Rank 80. Doanburi

    Japanese

Edible flowers and precisely packed sashimi boxes are the visual signature at this Japanese restaurant in Spring Valley, where the chef came up from Strip kitchens at Mizumi and Morimoto. The food reads as both serious and showy, crispy rice with glazed salmon, Wagyu tartare brightened with pear, sea bass tucked into butter lettuce. The kind of place where the dishes photograph before you eat them, and that turns out to be fine.

  80. Rank 80. HOLSTEINS

    Burger Joint

Holsteins is a casual burger-and-milkshake joint in the Arts District, relocated from its long run inside a Strip casino to a spot where nobody has to walk through a slot floor for a patty. The burgers are stacked high enough to require a strategy, and the boozy shakes arrive buried in doughnuts and marshmallows. Come hungry, wear something you can afford to get sauce on, and plan on being full for a while.

  81. Izakaya Go is a small Japanese izakaya in a Spring Mountain Road plaza, and its late-night happy hour from 10pm to 2am is the real draw. Sushi, tuna belly steak, and yaki udon all get marked down, which suits anyone who spent the day losing money and wants to feel like they won something. It's tight on space, so expect a wait when the deals kick in, and get your oyster order in before 1:45.

  82. La Fontaine is a lavish French restaurant that treats brunch as something other than an excuse for bottomless mimosas. The pain perdu comes with salted butter and warm caramel, the souffle pancakes get thyme whipped cream instead of syrup, and the dining room glows in soft whites and tans like a very expensive beach house. It's open Thursday through Monday, so plan around that, and wear something nicer than gym shorts.

  83. The handkerchief pasta, mandilli di seta, arrives dressed in Ligurian almond basil pesto and tends to settle the question of what to order. This modern Italian restaurant inside the Venetian seats over 150 across a room of forest green, reclaimed wood, and Art Deco light fixtures, which sounds like a lot but reads warmer than it has any right to. The menu runs from focaccina to porchetta, with fresh pasta doing most of the heavy lifting.

  84. Handmade pasta rooted in Roman and Lazio tradition is the point here, and Evan Funke's Italian restaurant inside the Fontainebleau takes that seriously enough to make everything else on the Strip feel like a reheated punchline. The room is modern rustic, open enough to clock the occasional famous face drifting through, with quieter tables along the edges for anyone who'd rather not. Seasonal antipasti, handmade pasta, the full Roman heritage treatment.

  85. This is a second-story steakhouse under a glass dome inside the Plaza, where the Casino dinner scene was filmed, so expect at least one table of suits murmuring "they filmed Casino here." The room was named for a former mayor who also worked as a mob attorney, which explains the menu. A zipline now blocks the Fremont views, but the burger with its pile of fried onions still outpaces the steaks.

  86. Rank 80. Other Mama

    Japanese

Other Mama is a Japanese neighborhood spot in a Durango Drive strip mall, where the fish comes in so fresh you'll forget you're in a desert. The daily catch and oysters live on a chalkboard, and the French toast caviar started as a special and never left. The room feels like a polished dive bar, with the chef's trinkets on display, so jeans and a low-stakes date night both fit.

  87. This is the Vegas outpost of the Brooklyn steakhouse that built a reputation on dry-aged porterhouse and a famously brusque dining room. Expect a pricey, old-school meat house with the kind of check that makes the sizzling platter feel like a down payment. Lunch has a quieter trick: a burger served only a few hours, Wednesday through Sunday, made from chuck and scraps of the dry-aged loin, and nearly $30 once fries show up.

  88. Rank 92. Jean Georges Steakhouse

    Modern Steakhouse

Jean-Georges Vongerichten's steakhouse inside the ARIA leans on the premium-cut playbook, Wagyu and Kobe alongside serious seafood, with the kind of sauce work that reminds you a French-trained chef is quietly running things. The room is sleek and contemporary, polished enough for a deal dinner but not so stiff you feel watched. The wine list is extensive and the service knows it. AAA Four Diamonds.

  89. A former auto garage with a butcher-paper cocktail menu still hanging above the makeshift kitchen, Liquid Diet is a creative cocktail bar where the bartenders juice and blend everyday ingredients into drinks that read like a dare. Bell pepper martinis, key lime sippers, banana bread cocktails with cookie shards frozen into chiseled ice cubes. Esquire named it one of the best bars in America, and curious tourists and pub crawlers seem to be putting that to the test nightly.

  90. Mon Ami Gabi is a Parisian-style bistro on the Strip where the patio faces the Bellagio Fountains and the sidewalk performs for free, with tourists and buskers wandering past your eggs Benedict. Flip flops are fine at brunch, a nicer outfit suits steak frites at dinner, and the crowd runs from newlyweds to influencers photographing their baguette. Book ahead, since everyone else read the same article.

  91. This is the Vegas branch of a New York all-day cafe, a sunny, Tiffany-blue dining room beside the Bellagio's botanical gardens where bagels arrive stacked in three-tier towers. It's fancy for a place that mostly sells eggs and fish salad, so the Strip's fully rested and the freshly regretful sit side by side over grapefruit cocktails. Grab a sticky bun from the cart up front on your way out.

  92. Two weathered smokers parked out front do most of the explaining at this Las Vegas Arts District BBQ shop. Bruce Kalman, better known for fine dining, runs the pits here, pulling from central Texas brisket to Carolina pulled pork to St. Louis ribs without the whole thing feeling like a textbook. Live music fills the room most nights, giving the place the energy of a honky-tonk that happens to take smoke seriously. A Michelin Selected Restaurant.

  93. Rank 92. Yukon Pizza

    Sourdough Pizzeria

The sourdough starter here has been around forever, which you can taste in the blistered, fermented crust on every pie. This is a casual Neapolitan-style pizza shop off the Strip where an 8-inch runs under $10 and a 14-inch tops out around $22. The Vampire Bread, slathered in garlic ranch, has its own following. Order a few things for the table and split the bill; nobody leaves feeling like they made a mistake.

  95. Bottiglia is a Tuscan enoteca out in Henderson whose weekend brunch doubles as a dress-code experiment, with a sunny dining room full of groups in their flashiest outfits working through bottomless mimosas and Aperol spritzes. A shellfish tower shares the table with avocado toast, and dessert is a chocolate stiletto made of ladyfingers and mascarpone, which is a sentence you only get to say at brunch.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. The places are 60% of it: the best of what's within reach, weighed by distance. The setting is the other 40%: how life goes in that country (how people rate their own lives, how long and how well they live, how safe they are) and what it's like right there (the air, and the weather). If the score looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
