The best breakfast in Las Vegas, according to the experts: AAA, USA Today, and Michelin Guide have all weighed in, and their honors are what rank this list. Esther's Kitchen comes out on top.

More Less

Mott 32 and Peppermill hold the next two places. The Infatuation shows up on more of this list than any other guide, with Eater next.

  1. The sourdough, pasta, and pizza all come from a dedicated production area you can see from the dining room, which tells you something about how seriously this Arts District Italian restaurant takes the basics. Dark walls, vintage silver trays, and a big welcoming U-shaped wood bar give it a rustic warmth that feels nothing like the Strip. The seasonal menu leans farm-forward and the Michelin Bib Gourmand makes the price-to-pleasure math easy.

  2. Rank 2. Mott 32

    Cantonese

The abacus-inspired light fixtures alone could convince you this is a design hotel lobby, but Mott 32 is a fine dining room doing serious contemporary Chinese food inside The Palazzo. The menu pulls from Cantonese and Sichuanese traditions, and the applewood-roasted Peking duck has a following of its own. The dim sum spreads run all-you-can-eat without feeling like a cafeteria, which is a harder trick than it sounds.

  3. A Strip diner that has been waving off the casino buffets for decades, with fake trees, flamingo lamps, and enough neon to make the omelets feel like a decision. Out back, the lounge has sunken booths, water features, and scorpion bowls, a James Beard America's Classics winner that somehow still runs all night. Hungover tourists and bikers split plates of marinara-soaked eggs, and no one finds this strange.

  4. 1228 Main is a daytime bakery and cafe in the Arts District where the pastry case gets the best light in the building. The laminated stuff is the draw, from lemon cruffins to crème brûlée croissants, and most people could call it breakfast with just a cappuccino. There's also a croissant sandwich with gruyère, avocado, and jalapeño aioli. It's part of the Wolfgang Puck group, which explains the discipline.

  5. Rank 4. Bouchon

    Classic French

Blue velvet banquettes, wood-paneled columns, and vintage frescoes sit just off a casino floor that couldn't be further from Paris, which is exactly the joke Thomas Keller seems happy to lean into. Bouchon is a classic French brasserie where the staff wear bow ties and the cooking runs to escargots and crème brûlée done with care. The room transports; the slot machines do not.

  6. This is a casual taco and breakfast spot in a South Durango strip-mall unit where the kitchen nixtamalizes its own heirloom corn, so the tortillas arrive with a pedigree most tortillas would find embarrassing. Chilaquiles, squash-filled tetelas, and fish tacos fill the minimalist room, along with aguas frescas and a horchata matcha. The chef was a 2025 James Beard Best Chef: Southwest semifinalist, and the Strip tourists are mostly elsewhere.

  7. Bardot is a Michael Mina brasserie tucked inside Aria, a windowless black-and-white room where it's always a flattering 8 p.m. and fresh flowers cover every surface. A shellfish cart rolls past, a martini program has its own national press, and at brunch someone sings Shania Twain over the croissants. It's a dressy-casual, mid-to-upper price French spot, and it holds three AAA diamonds.

  8. Rank 7. Honey Salt

    American

Honey Salt is a bright, farmhouse-style Summerlin restaurant where brunch involves bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas, plus a mocktail list so earnest it includes a green juice that makes Pilates feel plausible. Monkey bread arrives for the table, sticky and iced, and disappears in a way that suggests nobody read the portion sizes. Dress is nice-casual, the kind where the linen shirt is doing real work.

  9. This is a casual Italian spot inside the Grand Canal Shoppes, where windows face the Strip and the cooking leans more Hoboken than Bologna, courtesy of the Cake Boss. Portions are built for sharing, with a meatball roughly the size of a toddler's head and a lasagna that keeps its promises. Sunday turns it into an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet, and the chicken parm is the thing to defend at the carving station.

  10. Rank 10. Spago

    Cantonese

Spago is a business-casual fine-dining room at Bellagio, and its patio has a front-row view of the fountains, which is why you'll be humming Sinatra whether you meant to or not. The menu sits between luxurious and familiar: pizzas, pastas, and a thick cheeseburger with charred onions. The chinois chicken salad has been on since the early eighties, the culinary equivalent of a band that still plays the hits.

  11. This is a retro diner dressed like your great-grandmother's parlor, with lace curtains, antique picture frames, and a name that sounds like it's waiting on a pension. The biscuits are fluffy enough to scoop up chorizo gravy, and the pancakes get a toasty note from malted milk powder. Coffee is a quarter a cup and refilled before you ask, though the cold brew specials are the smarter order. Cheap, cozy, and best before noon.

  12. Lou's is a cheap, cozy Las Vegas diner done in full small-town cosplay, right down to the porcelain chickens and sheet metal signs reminding you that coffee helps. Your table gets a free sampler of housemade jams on butter crackers before you've ordered anything. The Belgian waffle shows up under hot strawberry sauce and a mountain of whipped cream. Weekday breakfast is calm, while weekends belong to the regulars.

  13. La Fontaine is a lavish French restaurant that treats brunch as something other than an excuse for bottomless mimosas. The pain perdu comes with salted butter and warm caramel, the souffle pancakes get thyme whipped cream instead of syrup, and the dining room glows in soft whites and tans like a very expensive beach house. It's open Thursday through Monday, so plan around that, and wear something nicer than gym shorts.

  14. This is the Vegas branch of a New York all-day cafe, a sunny, Tiffany-blue dining room beside the Bellagio's botanical gardens where bagels arrive stacked in three-tier towers. It's fancy for a place that mostly sells eggs and fish salad, so the Strip's fully rested and the freshly regretful sit side by side over grapefruit cocktails. Grab a sticky bun from the cart up front on your way out.

  15. Rank 16. Gritz Café

    Southern

Gritz Café is a small Southern breakfast spot a short drive off the Strip, where the portions are built for people who plan to nap afterward. The chicken and waffles lead the menu, but the cheesy jalapeño grits and hotlink omelets have their defenders. The dining room is tiny, so a wait is normal, though the servers move fast. The sweet potato pie travels well enough to survive airport security.

  16. Rank 16. Kassi Beach House

    Coastal Italian

Kassi Beach House is a coastal Italian restaurant dressed up as an upscale beach shack, complete with a DJ spinning pop remixes at brunch and a steady supply of people photographing their eggs. The soft scrambled eggs with salsa verde are the quiet standout, and there's pasta for anyone who wants lunch to commit. Bottomless rosé on a poolside daybed is the move if you're prepared to treat Saturday as a project.

  18. Rank 19. Egghead

    Sandwich Shop

This is a counter-service breakfast sandwich shop that came up from Los Angeles and now collects sleepy tourists in a line that wraps around the building from early morning until noon. The sandwiches are warm, built to be carried, and priced like a sensible meal in a town that prefers otherwise. Eggs go on brioche or baguette, sometimes with steak, and nobody inside is dressed for anything beyond the walk back to the Strip.

Four fifths of the score is the awards it's won, weighted by who gave them: a Michelin Key outweighs a listicle. The last fifth is where it is: the ranked places to eat and things to do around it, and how safe the country is. When you sort by what's nearby, distance from you changes the order, never the score.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score rates the area around a point, not any one place. The places are 60% of it: the best of what's within reach, weighed by distance. The setting is the other 40%: how life goes in that country (how people rate their own lives, how long and how well they live, how safe they are) and what it's like right there (the air, and the weather). If the score looks low, we probably haven't found enough critics out here yet.
