French
A French brasserie on a corner of South Main, with big windows that let the street watch you demolish a crock of onion soup. The classics are all here, escargots and mussels and a boeuf bourguignon built on short rib, plus fries tossed in dry-aged beef fat that tend to vanish before the entrees arrive. It's a sit-down dinner, and a James Beard semifinalist chef is running it. Next door, the sibling bar handles the Bordeaux.
