A boutique hotel built from teak and handmade brick right beside a 500-year-old temple in the ancient walled city of Chiang Saen, and designed to feel like the temple's quieter neighbor. Rooms are high-ceilinged with white cotton sheets against dark wood, some facing a courtyard garden, others looking straight at the wat. The pool sits half-enclosed by brick and greenery, and the restaurant terrace opens onto it all.
