A narrow lane in the Altenhain district leads to chef Isabelle Pering's creative set-menu restaurant, where the room is calm and clean-lined and dishes are named in three-word shorthand, carrot and hay alongside the beef, tomato and pimento with the asparagus. Most ingredients are regional and largely organic, and the wine list runs to good-by-the-glass options plus alcohol-free pairings. A terrace out back when the weather agrees.
