A modern restaurant tucked inside a pretty half-timbered building, Benders pulls off the neat trick of feeling genuinely relaxed while the kitchen runs through French, Mediterranean, regional, and occasional Asian ideas all on the same plate. The terrace is nicely landscaped, the staff know what they're doing, and the menu swings from monkfish with dashi beurre blanc to Wiener schnitzel on Thursdays, because some traditions deserve their own night.
