A 317-acre resort in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, about ten minutes from the Santa Fe plaza, Bishop's Lodge has been around forever, cycling from archbishop's residence to dude ranch before landing in its current life as an Auberge property. Kiva fireplaces and Native American art fill the rooms, while outside there's hiking, horseback riding, a heated pool, and a chapel repurposed for yoga, which feels very Santa Fe.
