A doorman in a top hat meets you outside eleven joined Georgian townhouses in Mayfair, which sets the tone for this grand, old-school London hotel. Brown's has been around forever, and a top-to-bottom renovation by Olga Polizzi brought the interiors into something more cultured and contemporary than the usual country-house look.
