Can Poal
Catalan
A centuries-old farmhouse in the hills outside Barcelona, converted into a traditional Catalan restaurant with a semi-open kitchen and stone walls that have seen a few things. The kitchen leans on organic meat and seasonal produce, sending out rice dishes, slow stews, and cuts off the Josper grill. The pigs' trotters have their own local following. A proper country lunch spot, the kind that fills up with tables of extended families who already know the menu by heart.
