    A private island off a private island: Cape Fahn sits on its own small outcrop just off Koh Samui's eastern shore, with villas that open onto terraces, plunge pools, and water in every direction. The resort holds two restaurants, a spa, and a program of activities that runs from yoga to Muay Thai, in case lying by a pool with nothing but open sea around you feels insufficiently structured.
