Carnitas fried to order in a Richmond backyard: that's the whole setup, and it turns out to be enough. This Pueblan home taqueria turns out giant carnitas tacos loaded with confited pork, hand-pulled quesillo, and a salsa verde that has made grown adults reconsider their life choices. The cemitas are thick and brawny, and pumpkin seed mole shows up as a special when you're lucky. The San Francisco Chronicle named it among the Bay Area's best Mexican restaurants and best tacos.
