    The indigo-painted facade alone stops foot traffic on Leith Street. This heritage hotel in George Town's old quarter was built as a private mansion and still feels like one, with carved Chinese screens, Art Nouveau stained glass, and feng shui-arranged suites furnished with antiques. You may recognize it from "Crazy Rich Asians," which is either a selling point or a warning, depending on your relationship with fellow guests. The bar has live guzheng after dark.
