    The 17th-century shell on Rue de la Rôtisserie still has Swatch on the ground floor and St. Pierre Cathedral 70 meters up the street, which sets up the citizenM formula nicely: XL king beds, tablet-controlled everything, rainfall showers, and a communal living room stacked with art books. Lake Geneva is a short walk. It's a mid-range design hotel, efficient and a bit self-consciously cool, with a 24-hour canteen for when the old town shuts down.
