    A historic ornate building steps from the Jardin Anglais and the lake, Hôtel Longemalle is a boutique city hotel that leans into its own contradictions: the facade is old Geneva, but inside everything is colorful, layered, and deliberate, mixing modern art with antique objects in rooms that have no interest in being calm. Restaurant Balila serves modern Lebanese food, and a terrace handles the sunnier days Geneva occasionally permits itself.
