    A wood-burning stove anchors the otherwise minimalist dining room, and the Bay of Piran fills the windows beyond it. COB is a tasting-menu restaurant where a Michelin-starred chef reworks global flavors through Slovenian ingredients, currently under a travel theme that hands each guest a passport on arrival and stamps it course by course. The conceit is sillier than the cooking, which keeps pace with the view.
