The backyard patio at this Caribbean-Creole-Latin restaurant on College Street has wood planks, warm lighting, and enough greenery to make you forget there's a city out there. Inside, the room is a cozy nook built for sharing plates and lingering. The menu moves through fried chicken with smoked hot honey and braised beef over cheddar grits without losing momentum. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand, and it earned a finalist nod from Air Canada's Best New Restaurants list.
