    Midway between Potsdamer Platz and Alexanderplatz, this Mitte boutique hotel leans into clean German modernism with enough plushness to feel more London than Berlin. No art installations, no retro space-age posturing, just well-considered design and a restaurant and lounge that draw as many locals as guests, thanks to a kitchen with a particular thing for herbs and essential oils.
