    The spa and pool occupy what was once a vault, finished in green and gold, which tells you everything about the Hotel de Rome's sense of occasion. This Rocco Forte property in a converted neoclassical bank off Bebelplatz draws a business-class crowd, and the rooms deliver accordingly: serious appointments, marble bathrooms, sound systems throughout. Heavy stone walls keep out the WiFi and the riffraff. Two Michelin Keys.
