A former Capuchin monastery in Stans, now a regional restaurant where the open kitchen works almost entirely with Central Swiss and Alpine ingredients. The evening menu runs à la carte or as a four-course "Tavolata" for the whole table. The monastery garden, open to the public, lets you eat straight from the plants. On Sunday mornings, a regional monastery breakfast fills the room with people who planned further ahead than you did.
