    A village restaurant in a Kaiserstuhl wine town where the menu swings from Black Forest beef to burgers without anyone treating that as a contradiction. The kitchen leans on good regional ingredients and a weekly changing menu keeps regulars from going on autopilot. Michelin's Bib Gourmand reflects the honest value. The room has a modern-rustic feel, the service is warm, and in summer the garden pulls most of the crowd outside.
