Two Victorian shopfronts knocked together in Redland, with paper lanterns overhead and recycled-plastic stools at a communal counter overlooking the open kitchen. Dongnae is a Korean restaurant from the team behind Bokman, drawing on years spent living in Seoul. You can go à la carte with sharing plates, or commit to the hanjungshik tasting menu. The charcoal grill pulls most of the attention, helped along by house-made condiments that are fermented and spiced with some care.
