Eight at Gazegill by Doug Crampton
Modern British
To get here, you drive through the working organic farm that grows much of what ends up on your plate, which sets the tone nicely. Eight is a modern British restaurant with bright, colourful interiors that feel deliberately cheerful against the Lancashire fields and Pendle Hill beyond the windows. The home-reared beef is the throughline, and the Sunday roast draws accordingly. Farm-to-fork as a concept rarely comes with this much literal farm.
