El Pandora
Spanish
A family restaurant in central Avilés where the fish changes with whatever came off the boats that morning, and the menu follows suit almost daily. The room leans Art Deco, the cooking leans traditional, and the younger generation in the kitchen keeps nudging both forward. Steak tartare and tripe with chorizo hold down the classics end, while the market suggestions do the more interesting work. Grab the split-level terrace if the weather cooperates.
