    A mid-range Marriott hotel on Abercorn where the parking garage connects directly to guest floors, which is a small mercy in Savannah's heat. Room layouts run from king to double-queen to open studio suites with sleeper sofas and a second TV. Walk-in showers in king rooms, tub-shower combos in double-queens. Dining, a grocery store, and some shopping are all on foot. A solid, no-drama base for exploring a city that gives you plenty of reasons to be out of your room.
