    A converted post office that now does considerably more interesting things with packages, Fukku is a lively izakaya in St Peter Port running through the full Japanese repertoire: tempura, robata, ramen, sushi. The chef's counter offers a more immersive, let-us-feed-you format if you want the kitchen to make the decisions. Sake and highball cocktails keep the room loud and happy, which it reliably is.
