Gasthof Adler
Austrian
Warm wood panelling runs floor to ceiling in this centuries-old gasthaus on the village square in Schwarzenberg, and the cooking matches the room: Austrian and Vorarlberg regional, stripped back to what the local larder can actually do. Breaded fried chicken, potato salad, pumpkin seed oil, nothing pretending to be anything else. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Bib Gourmand, which tracks. Guest rooms upstairs if you'd rather not leave.
