    The London original built its reputation on the gentlemen's clubs of colonial India, and this Doha outpost carries the brief faithfully: dark wood, a clubby interior that feels more lodge than hotel dining room, and an open kitchen that keeps the room from feeling too hushed. It's a full-service Indian restaurant inside the Katara Hills LXR, with a back terrace when the weather cooperates. Lunch is the easier entry point, price-wise.
