Philippe Starck did the interiors, and it shows: the rooms are bright and a little theatrical, the pool deck was designed with a camera in mind. This is a Philippe Starck hotel near the Dune de Pilat, about an hour from Bordeaux, built around a 1930s villa with a silhouette you'll recognize from the road. A spa, a café, a brasserie, and a two-Michelin-starred restaurant are all on site. The Michelin Guide gave it one Key.
